On behalf of the officers of the Frenchman Bay Flying Club I want to thank you for your interest in our organization. Please print out and read a our bylaws and complete and sign our application form. Please familiarize yourself with our rules and regulations.
For your information:
· The initial membership fee is $300.
· The monthly dues are $35/month.
· The current rental rate is $75/ hour. Fuel is included.
· Bills are sent out at the beginning of the month, prompt payment is expected.
· You reserve the aircraft online on our website www.fbfclub.org. You will be issued a scheduling program ID upon joining.
· Carefully complete the signin/signout sheet located in the airplane in a legible manner after each flight. This is how we bill you.
· The aircraft should be refueled after each flight. Columbia Air will put fuel/oil on our tab.
· The plane should be put in the hangar in winter unless it is going out again very soon.
· Report any minor maintenance issues by writing them on the signin/signout log
· Any major problems should immediately be reported to our club maintenance officer as well as to Columbia Air.
· Any accidents, incidents or damage to the aircraft should immediately be reported to the officers.
· If you personally pay for fuel or oil at a remote airport, keep your receipt and mail it in to the sec/treasurer so that you can be reimbursed.
I will send you a key to the aircraft as soon as we receive the following:
1. A check for $300 made out to Frenchmen Bay Flying Club Inc..
2. A signed bylaw agreement sheet
3. A copy of your medical certificate
4. A copy of your license /student license
5. Confirmation
from a club officer of successful completion of a checkride in the club
aircraft.
